New Position The Result Of Expanded Operations
Jay McMaster has been appointed to the newly-created position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Atria Networks. The appointment was announced by Atria Networks’ President, Ian Collins.
“One of Atria’s Strategic Focus Areas is the development of our Network Operations to ensure we can deliver an entire product portfolio anywhere in our trading area by 2012,” said Collins. “To ensure we can continue to deliver the highest quality products and services our customers expect, it is mandatory we grow a dedicated full-time team to expand our technology direction,” he added.
A dedicated Planning Group has been created under the CTO, “which will focus on long-term technical development of our network and work closely with our Marketing Team to ensure Atria’s ability to successfully deliver future products and services,” said Collins.
As the former CTO of Fibrewired Hamilton, Jay McMaster brings over 23 years telecom industry experience to Atria with a proven capability to deliver service-driven network architectures which satisfy the key imperative of high-availability. According to Collins, “Jay is a great addition to our team. He’s considered one of the pioneers of the Metro Ethernet revolution in Ontario.”
